Impact Weapons

Meets the national competency CPPSEC3014A Control Persons Using Batons.

Tactical Conflict Solutions facilitates training in:

  • Long Baton (Riot Control)
  • Extendable Baton (Personal Defence Tool); and
  • PR24 (also known as the T Bar in some countries).

During the training you will:

  • Experience dynamic full contact combat simulations;
  • Learn proven weapon retention techniques;
  • Understand human physiology and striking methods;
  • Learn to transition with alternate force options; and
  • Lethal and less lethal applications.

In addition to the practical training associated with the use of impact weapons, Tactical Conflict Solutions can deliver tactical training in Riot Control and Civil Disorder Management. Such training includes the following:

  • Command, Orders and Logistics of Riot Control;
  • Operational Planning;
  • Correct use of Arrest Teams;
  • Team Formations;
  • Petrol Bomb drills; and
  • Working with Chemical Agents, K9 and mounted teams.
